Anaerobic Digestion
Anaerobic digestion is a series of processes in which micro-organisms break down biodegradable material in the absence of oxygen.
It is widely used as a renewable energy source because the process produces a methane and carbon dioxide rich biogas suitable for energy production, helping to replace fossil fuels. The nutrient-rich digestate which is also produced can be used as fertilizer.
We offers a nationwide collection service for all bio wastes that can be digested including:
- All bulk liquid and solid food waste
- All packaged food waste including glass jars
- All commercial biowaste suitable for AD
- All Animal By-Product waste from abattoirs and processing facilities
We constantly looking for all the above waste streams and can offer very competative prices throughout the UK.
